Scholarship Fund
In 1992, Past Grand Master Jessie James, who at that time was the District Deputy Grand Master of District 1, had a vision of committing to a four year scholarship program to one worthy scholarship recipient, rather than providing annual scholarships (token gifts) to multiple students. From that vision, The Prince Hall Scholarship Foundation was born and since that time, we have assisted four students to achieve their goal of a higher education. Our recipients attended various schools to include Brown University in Rhode Island; Penn State University in Pennsylvania; Southwest Missouri State University in Missouri and the University of New Mexico.

Dear Friend,
The Prince Hall Masonic Family Scholarship Foundation of New Mexico Inc. solicits your financial support for its Masonic scholarship foundation. We are a non-profit organization within our Masonic organization of New Mexico whose sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to young people desiring to further their education at an accredited institution of higher learning, college, or university. We provide a four-year scholarship plan. The scholarship foundation will pay tuition, laboratory fees, and books for four years.
Approximately ten years ago we changed our scholarship program from awarding a number of small scholarships (token gifts) to committing to one student at a time for four years. To date two students have completed our four-year scholarship program; one at Brown University, RI and one at Penn State, PA. We are excited about the success of our program and with your help we will continue to grow and be able to offer an education opportunity to more than one student at a time, every four years.
We look forward to you participating in this most important project. Just $100.00 per year, for four years, can be your personal scholarship for a deserving young person. However, what ever the amount your gift, its greatly appreciated. Education is vital to the success of our young people and the future of our communities. We thank you for investing in the future.
The Prince Hall Masonic Family Scholarship Foundation of New Mexico Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and your gifts are tax-free. We will send you a receipt if you give a return address. We want and appreciate your help?
