O L A

Welcome to the website of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New Mexico.  It is both an honor and a privilege for me to serve this great state as Most Worshipful Grand Master.  We as Prince Hall Masons in New Mexico strive to make our community a better place to live by supporting school programs, operating food banks and providing a full four year scholarship to a deserving high school graduate every two years.  We are working to truly make New Mexico live up to its slogan, “The Land of Enchantment.”

The Grand Lodge of New Mexico was organized September 21, 1921 but this was not the beginning of Prince Hall Masonry in New Mexico.  There were Lodges in New Mexico as early as 1893 charted under the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of Colorado and Its Jurisdiction.

Being a member of Freemasonry is a way of life, founded on a belief in God, honor, compassion, loyalty and trust.  Freemasonry is an ancient order, having existed in some form for so long that many scholars differ as to the time and place of its origin.  Masons were free men of that time and built the great cathedrals and temples and have ascended to become one of the largest fraternities in the world.  As you tour this website you will find more information about Masonic and New Mexico history.

We have many
activities, check us out, we are looking forward to meeting fellow Masons worldwide. Contact us at our guest book or consult our Roster of Lodges for more information about each lodge and its membership.
